Show CLODTOilEN OFSTATE h WILL -MEET - 'AT LOGAN Eleventh Annual Session cf the Federation Will Begin Be-gin on Thursday Morning -. . . . . The eleventh annual session of the State Federation of Women's Clubs will convene In Logan beginning Thursday. The club women from the extreme south and east and north and west of the State will be present . ' The meeting will have present one delegate and the president from each club In 'the State, and besides these there will be the various committee members and chairmen. " ' The proceedings wll be along the same lines as previously taken, and will embrace dlscuseion on the free-traveling library, club extension, the plans for the reciprocity bureau, plaiisoftha art committee, the progress of the forestry for-estry movement and the report of the 1 progress of the committee on Industrial education. - I The State federation today consists of over 1000 women from : all over' the State, and represents the membership in twenty-six clubs. The officers of the ; federation are: Mrs. C. S. Kinney, pres- ' ident; Mrs. B. E. Corf man, vice-presi- dent; Mrs. Edward Blchsel and Mrs. A. J. Oorham, corresponding- and recording- secretaries; Mrs. I A. Ostien, treasurer: Mrs. C. M. Wilson, auditor, and Mrs. . Balbert S. Kerr, State organiser. or-ganiser. The Salt Lake delegation will consist of Mrs. Kinney, Mrs. - A. J. Gorham, Mfs. John Cain, Mrs. Joel U Priest, Mrs. F. D. BIckford and Mies Jessup. represenUng- the Ladles' Literary club; Mrs. E. C. Lee of the Reviewers; Miss Emellne Wells and Mrs. Selden L Claw-son Claw-son of the Cleofan; Mrs. Howard 3. Stowe, Mrs. H. V. Pease and Mrs. A. J. Johnson of the Woman's club; Mrs. MacMahon, Mrs. James F. Marshall, Mrs. L. E. Freeland and Mrs. Gorman of the P. E. O. society; Mrs. W. W. Rlter and Mrs. Crismon of the Authors' club; Mrs. Lucy A. Clark. Mrs. Maria Francis and Mrs. Mary S. Kelly of the Utah Woman's Press club; Mrs. J. C. McClaln of the Home Protective league, and Mrs. Emma Mooney of the Council of Jewish Women. , The meeting- will open Thursday at :30 a. m. In the Agricultural college. |
