President Roosevelt, a member of the society, had 'been expected, but sent his rcrrets. They were all of them humhla people, farmers, farm-ers, mechanics etc., although Sarah Craig Is put down m ths book as being descended on ber mother's side throurh the Barn walls from various wejl-knows Irish families, both of th pala and outside the pale; th Butlers, the Flureralda.
