Show HOUSE FINALLY TAXES ACTION ON RESOLUTION RELATING TO FRAUDS. After much discussion, the House voted to pass House concurrent resolution resolu-tion No. 1, relating to the bounty frauds, after the Senate had butchered It up with amendments, Tuesday. When the amended resolution was returned the House viewed it with suspicion. Representatives McCrea and Kuchler made a strong plea for the immediate concurring of the House, as the committee com-mittee was tied up until the resolution was passed. On throllcall Joseph refused to vote until made to do so by Fishburn, who wanted to know how Joseph stood. The gentleman from Salt Lake then voted "aye." Representative Richards became very Indignant because he said someone voted "aye" when his name was called. "I wish to vote 'nay,' cried the Representative Rep-resentative from Davis, and his vote was the only one so recorded. |
