Harry C Riddle, the Republican member of the city election commission, this morning handed to the Secretary of State a statement to the effect that he had certified to the result of the vote In Denver only because he bad been ordered to do so by the Supreme court. He did not contradict the facts as set forth in the return of the commission, but declared! that, in his opinion, the court would not have ordered him to certify the returns if it had possessed equal knowledge with Mr. Riddle of the exact situation. .DENVER, "!
