Show LANDS WITHDRAWN IN IRRIGATION AREA Vast Tracts in Wyoming Will Hereafter Here-after Be Open to Entry Only Under Jrrigation Act. CHEYENNE. Feb. M. The Cheyenne Land office has received Instructions from the General Land office to withdraw from entry except .under the Irrigation act, a strip of land in northern Laramie j county varying In width from twelve to ' thirty miles and extending entirely across the county from east to west. This tract comprises 750,000 acres of the richest agricultural land in the county on both aides of the North Platte river, including in-cluding the well-known Goshen Hole section, sec-tion, and will be under the Devils Gate reservoir, perhaps the first to be constructed con-structed under . the national irrigation law. The reservoir will be constructed at the headwaters of the Sweetwater river.
