Show PIONEER CITIZEN IS CALLED BY DEATH Samuel Hood Hill, aged 62 years, died at his home in this city, of pneumonia, last night Mr. Hill, who was born In Toronto, was baptized into the Mormon Mor-mon church at an early age, had1 been prominent in the church affairs and business enterprises of the State. For many years he was identified with the railroad industry In the West, and was one of the organizers and superintendent superintend-ent of the mercantile house of Cun-nington Cun-nington company. Mr. Hill was married three times and had children survive him. He was successively an elder, seventy and high priest in the church; In politics he was a Republican and a member of the Constitutional Con-stitutional convention. |
