Show GRADUATES AT THEATER Eighth Grade From County Schools Presents Fine Programme. The commencement exercises of the Salt Lake county schools were-held in the Salt Lake Theater this morning. The programme, which began at 11 o'clock. Was as follows: Song Claude Cornwall, district 30. Invocation E. H. Richards. Greeting Coral Walters, district 31. "Our Mothers" Martin Ivan Bird, district 24. "Possibilities" Lois Ann Spicer, district dis-trict 69. Story Contest Bertha Kunzler, district dis-trict 40; Hazel FJynn,' district 27. Recitation Elaine Meff, district 33. "Work" Clinton Alston, district 29. Oratorial contest, "Our Public Schools" Heber Bennlon, district 38; Ethel Snow, district 22. Song Pupils of Sugar district 29. "Liberty" S. Maude Roberts, district 43. Valedictory Eva Walker, district 27. Address to graduates Prof. R. L. McGhie. The Theater was crowded from the orchestra to the last seat in the gallery gal-lery with the friends of the young graduates, grad-uates, f The exercises reflected especial crealt not only upon the pupils whose work was excellent in every detail, but uton the teachers and the County Superintendent Superin-tendent as well. ij |
