Jensen of this city, accidentally Shot himself at Oakley Saturday. ... After receiving his wound Jensen walked several miles through the hot sun, with tha blood pouring In a steady stream from the ballet-hole .in hi breast. He will probably be brought ta a Salt Laka hospital for treatment. Jensen wandered off shooting on Saturday Sat-urday morning and when about four miles from home, something became wrong with the lock of his gun. He waa unable to break the breech, and after several attempts ha placed his foot on the breech of the gun to force the lock, holdlngt the barrel in his hands. As he did so the gun discharged, the bullet passing through his left breast near fcla heart. He dragged himself slowly home and fainted on the porch. His sixteen-year-old sister pulled him into the house, and mounting a horse rode to Kamas, where a doctor was procured and a telephone message sent to the boy's father. - Jeasea la now in fairly good condition, condi-tion, and the doctor states that there will be no great danger unless blood poisoning should set In. , , |
