An Important meeting of the strikers will be held at their hall at 3 o'clock this afternoon. - The strikers claim to have information informa-tion that the company now '. sees the matter in a different light, as the men have at last made the company understand under-stand Just what was wanted. The men claim that when they succeeded in that the way for an immediate settlement was opened. The opinion among the strikers is that "in all probability the strike may be settled satisfactorily at this afternoon's after-noon's meeting. ' The company, on the other hand, asserts as-serts that while the anion men will not be discriminated against, the union will not be recognized. , . |
