Show CUT-OFF WILL BE COMPLETED JUNE IS The work on the Leamington cut-off Is rapidly nearing completion. The tracks were laid eighty-seven miles south of Salt Lake Friday night, which left only fourteen miles to be completed. Although no reports have been received re-ceived since then, it Is probable that several sev-eral miles of steel have been laid since. A Short Line official said today that the work would positively be finished by June 15th. No arrangements have been made by the Short Line for the establishment of train service, either freight or passenger, over the new line, owing to the impending impend-ing transfer to the San Pedro. |
