Show IMHAUS' CONTRACT IS DECLARED VOID Owner Heath of Salt Palace Explains Conflicting Claims as to management man-agement of Resort. Rival managers are claiming control of the Salt Palace theater for the coming season. Jacob Myers left a few days ago for the East to secure attractions for the resort. Now Louis Imhaus, claiming to be lessee and manager of the 8alt Palace, writes to The Telegram from San Francisco Fran-cisco that he will be here on or before June 14th with a varied lint of attractions. , A representative of Frederick Heath, owner of the 8alt Palace, said today: "It is true that Mr. Heath entered into a contract with Imhaus to turn over the management of the Salt Palace, but Imhaus Im-haus was to be here on April 1st and make a 30.000 bond for the faithful performance perform-ance of his part of the contract. Imhaus did not come, has made no bond, and to this day Mr. Heath has heard nothing from him since the. time he was to be here; - Imhaus has thus rendered his contract con-tract void. In view of this, Mr. Heath en gaged Jacob Myers of the Salt Lake Costuming Cos-tuming company as manager. Myers is now fn the East engaging attractions, and will open the house May 29th. If Imhaus Im-haus should attempt to take control, Mr. Heath will fight it out with him in the courts." : , |
