FURTHER OPPOSITION TO IMPROVING STREET Further opposition - to - the improrlnc of Tenth Eaat and Ninth Eaat streets br trading-, g-utterinp; and macadamizing them, was presented, to the Cltr Council last erenlng in the tons of a communication from the Protestants. The City Engineer and Auditor - declared that the required number of feet represented br the protectants when the action was passed two weeks ago was not sufficient to defeat the measure. , The protestants asked last night that action ac-tion be deferred for a few weeks br the Council In order that the protectants might more thoroughly go into the matter. The matter was referred to the City Engineer and the Committee on Improvements.
