TO INVESTIGATE FIRE ADJUSTING Special Agent of Commerce and Labor Commission to LooK Into Insurance for 'Frisco Disaster. WASHINGTON, Nov. 20. Secretary Metcalf of the Department .of Commerce Com-merce and Labor, has directed the Commissioner of Corporations to make an investigation of the action of fire insurance companies in the settlement of claims for losses resulting from the earthquake and fire in 8a n Francisco and other places -in California. George E. Butler of Boss, Cal., has been appointed speeial agent to conduct this investigation in California.
