, IIIPROVEHENTS : FOR SIDEWALKS Council Adopts Recommendation Recommen-dation of Street Committee Commit-tee About Repairing Defective De-fective SidewalKs-of Certain Cer-tain Section. ; By a Tesolution adopted last evening "by the : City Council- some extensive sidewalk improvements will be made in the down-town. : district next spring. Upon the recommendation of the Street committee, "adopted by the Council, the City Recorder is . instructed in-structed to advertise the intention of the city to repair and replace all defective de-fective sidewalks in the district bounded by South Temple, Second East, Fourth South and First West streets. All sidewalks in the business district are to be sixteen feet wide. The resolution reso-lution also provides for a six-foot sidewalk side-walk on the south side of Second South street between Second and Third East streets.
