Show INDORSE BEATTY'S COMING RAILROAD DAY At a meeting of the Commercial club board of governors yesterday at 12:30 o'clock in the clubrooms, it was decided to indorse the proposed trip to Beatty, yv., on Bilread day, Octomber . The San Pedro has offered low rates and special inducements to take this trip. The Beatty merchants and citizens citi-zens are planning te give the visitors a warm reception. A special train with all modera conveniences, con-veniences, will leave Salt Lake Sunday, October 1 at 2:30 and arrive in Beatty the next morning, returning leaves Beatty st 9 a. m. en the morning of the 24th. Tickets are good for fifteen days from date of sale. The indications indica-tions are that a larger crowd than ever before will go on this trip. Fred C. Graham requested the aid of the elub in the coming annual musical festival for Salt Lake. The first one will be held April 8 to 9, 1907: Musi-eisns Musi-eisns from all over the eeuntry will be here. The Chicago Symphony of fifty musicians and assisted by 250 local singers will present " Hiawatha" and "Messiah." |
