Show JURY FINDS BROWN GUILTY OF FORGERY After delibersting eight hours without a meal, a' jury in Judge Armstrang's court last evening returned a verdict finding Arthur Brown, once confidential 'Clerk to A. J. Orem k Co., guilty of forgery in uttering a forged instrument. Brown was formerly teller of the Commercial National bank. Brown was chsrged with hsring forged a check on the Commercial National bank, in which he forged the name of the treasurer of the eompsny, V. C. Orem. Sentence will be pronounced Fridsy morning by Judge Armstrong. Brown is at present st liberty on bonds of S2000. |
