' The Stockton district of Utah con tinues to satisfy investors and managements manage-ments that undertake development enterprises en-terprises there; and while much baa been accomplished already, and the eyes of big capital - are directed that way already, it is altogether probable that others are to follow. The Honerine is preparing to increase its output, and the officials of the New Stockton company com-pany are especially gratified at the I showings made in their holdings, according ac-cording to General Manager J. J. Tre-nam. Tre-nam. Five ore shoots have been disclosed on the 1000-foot leveL Four of those ore bodies are known by the develop--ment work done upon them to be most generous in size. The exact extent, however, of these four shoots is yet aa Unknown quantity. . The greatest distance crosscut upon any of the veins has been forty feet, ana the other wall has not been encountered en-countered as yet in this or any of the other bodies. The fifth ere shoot encountered en-countered was struck the - present week, and the management has no idea of its extent. . , There are two more ore bodies known to. exist in front of the present workr ings, and these should be encountered in the face of their respective drifts within the coming few days. The company is doing no active extraction ex-traction whatever, feeding the mill with ore that must needs be taken out in the course of regular development work. Plans have been set in motion whereby where-by the output from the Houerino mine will be greatly increased. Jamee Quinn, formerly of the Ophir property, has made, a contract to begin active stoping upon the Buhl ore snoot. And is at work with twenty men. . The prediction -made some weeks ago to the effect that the Honerine will be listed among the dividend-payers of the State by the hjlii'ays seems strengthened by the present policy of the officials. |
