Show LUTHERANS TO CLOSE MEETING Annual Conference to End Tonight, After Successful Three Days' Session; the Church's Growth Slow . but Steady. The Lutheran, conference will close tonight, after four days of successful work participated in by conscientious workers of Maine. Illinois, Montana, Oregon, Idaho and Utah. Too visitinff clergymen arc members well learned in the theology of their chosrn religion, who are .working hard and faithful for it. Tbe growth of the Lutheran church is slow but steady, be ing less fast iu tbe intermountain valleys val-leys than iq the East. Tbe Luther league held an important meeting last night, at which thero were many not members of the church in attendance.
