Show GOOD MATERIAL IN OGDEN TEAM Coach W. Q. Moutk of tlie Ogden high school thinks he ha tha material and will land the fish thia fall in the football race for the championship of high school. The old playera who will return this year are Craig and Carlton, ends; Scndder, tackle: Meyer, guard; Tarey, halfback; R. Campbell, quarterback quar-terback and captain; and F. Smith, center. The other positions will be filled from the following candidates: R. McDanial, Charlea Smith. Charlea Wallace, F. B. Smith, Frank White, F. Johnson. R. Johnson, L. Hineh-cliffe, Hineh-cliffe, A. Malone. F. A. Smith, Cleary, K. Campbell, C. Barker and Lewis. All the boys are working with a spirit that ia bound to win. and are leaving. nothing undone. un-done. While all of the promising material now in the school has not shown up yet on tha gridiron, yet two teams hare been working, work-ing, and with auch new men as hare promised prom-ised to get two swift teams will be formed for daily work-outs. Coach Moock i enthusiastic orer the outlook, out-look, and expects to derelop the best team the Ogden high school has erer had, some- j thing that will bring home the goods. Tha new men who hare thus far ahown up for practice are doing remarkably well for green timber, the- game apparenty coming to them naturally. A fast field will be developed which will meet all the new rules. Ogden is looking forward for-ward to one of its most successful year in athletics. |
