Tisdale, a wealthy Western mine-ownor, who disappeared from the Hotel Seville Monday noon, not a trace of him was found yesterday. So alarmed haa his wife become that her condition Is regarded as critical. Despairing; of obtaining a clue In New York, W. W. Corlett, Mr. Tisdale's stepson, step-son, left for Bo6ton yesterday, where the missjng man had planned to attend a meeting called for Tuesday morning of the directors of the Alaska Snlttishan Ml-nlng Ml-nlng company, of which Mr. Tlsdale is president. Gen. Charles I.. Wilson, who has known Mr. and Mrs. Tisdale for years. Is at a loss to clear the' mystery. "It Is the strangest thing I have ever beard of." said Gen. Wilson last night. It has been erroneously reported that Mr. Tisdale wore a scarf pin worth $1000 when he left the Seville. He had no Jewelry of any kind except a gold watch,, and so far as has been learned he had ,only $200 in money with .him. - |
