Show SUIT GROWS OUT OF PRIZE DRAWING Mrs. Nannie Brown Saturday commenced com-menced suit in the District court against Dr. E. P. HUHgoss, V. P. His-key His-key and the Houston Real Estate Investment In-vestment company. . The suit grows out of the prize drawing draw-ing at Saltair on real estate day last June. Plaintiff alleges that she accompanied accom-panied Dr. Hllllgoss to Saltair on that day, and that they purchased two tickets tick-ets on lots 12, 13 and 14 Lynch & Glas-mann's Glas-mann's subdivision of block 82, plat C, Salt Lake City survey, she giving her ticket to Dr. Hllllgoss to be returned to her on demand. Mrs. Brown's ticket drew the prise, which, according to agreement, was to be divided between them, but Dr. Hllllgoss refused to carry car-ry out his part of the agreement and took sole possession of the property in his own name. Plaintiff asks the court to decree that Dr. Hllllgoss received title to one-half of the property in trust for her and that the defendants V. P. Hlskey and the Houston Real Estate Investment company be directed to pay Into the court the residue of the, purchase price, $350, of which one-half of the original purchase price, 1300. is to be paid to the plaintiff. Hlskey bought the property prop-erty on a contract, placing the deed In escrow with the Houston Real Estate Investment company. |
