Show FORMER MANAGER OF FLAGSTAFF IS DEAD : OMAHA. Neb., Jan. 30J-J. N. H. Pat rick, a Nebraska pioneer, Is dead, aged 70 years. Mr. Patrick raised the first Nebraska regiment at the outbreak of the Civil war, through which he served, attaining the rank of Colonel. Later he distinguished himself In battles with the Indians on the frontier and was for several years a Government director of the Union Pacific. He had amassed considerable wealth. Mr. Patrick was well known here, I V having been connected with the Flag-1 Flag-1 staff mine as manager shortly after this was opened. He was a brother of M. T. Patrick, formerly a United States Marshal here, and during his early life made many trips to Salt Lake. |
