Waters Salt Lake businessman and friend of boyhood will be mourned by many George Waters Vaters former vice president of Schramm-John- Schramm son Drug company and former manager of Eastman Kodak Stores here had retired retired retired re re- re- re tired from active business life just a few weeks ago He died of a heart ailment at atthe atthe atthe the age of 65 In the more than 40 years that George Waters Vaters lived in Salt Lake City he had won many friends and had earned a place of honor in the community for his work in behalf of Boy Scouts and underprivileged underprivileged underprivileged un un- un- un youngsters He was long active as a member of the executive board of the Salt Lake council Boy Scouts of America and of the Salt Lake Kiwanis club although in recent years poor health compelled him to give up almost all of this activity We Ve think it is a safe statement that everybody who knew him both liked and admired George Waters He was a good citizen and his many friends will join with the bereaved members of his family in mourning his death |
