| Show Salt Lake Actors Present Beloved Through By HELEN GLISSMEYER An old beloved play which has lived through many many years of production was presented once again Monday evening in Salt SaltI Lake City this time by the Salt Lake Theatre Inc on the stage I of the Lyric theater Although the performance of the play Through I could not be classified as the most spectacular show ever to be seen I Iby by a Salt Lake audience it made madea a pleasant and enjoyable evening I to the crowd which attended The story of the play which generally is familiar with the average theater-goer theater or movie moie enthusiast enthusiast enthusiast en en- portrayed a typical love theme John Carteret an elderly man embittered by the death 50 years before of ot his to bride-to-be forbids his niece Kathleen to have any relations whatever with the son of Jeremiah Wayne Vayne who was responsible for his heartbreak All ends well and Kenneth Wayne and Kathleen are to be wed wed after after many interesting events take place The most outstanding performance perform perform- ance was as given by Howard R R. Randall as the elderly Mr Car- Car Don K Ipson should also I be commended for his hia character portrayal of ot Dr Owen Harding Although he was on the stage but a short time Duane Hill as RS Willie Villie Ainley the boy next door won the hearts of every everyone one in the audience Leading roles were taken by Mr and Mrs Stanley R. R Steadman Steadman Steadman Stead- Stead man Mavis Hickman Others in the cast were Rowena J. J Miller Virginia A A. A Nelson Harvey Nel Nel- Nelson N Nelson elson el- el son and Georgie Gay The play will win be presented again Tuesday I and Wednesday evenings |
