H Frederick Da Davis was wu excellent The performed well showing fine i stage tage presence prence arid and often real acting as well a singing ability ability ability-a ability a Circumstance which is Unusual unusual un Un- usual sual in amateur operatic productions Each was was as well chosen In hn oIe Alfred Allred Schmidt as ast ast t t e duke of Tort Plaza Plaza Martha Smith Jensen as is the duch duchess duches and as Don Al- Al h Bolero deserve special mention They gave a superb typically Gilbert GUbert van performances cs which would win plaudits on any any stage It is hard to believe that such a fine production tion Uon could be staged in Salt Lake CH city entirely entirely- with local talent and that volunteer er It is proof positive e of a background of years of musical rc and artistic training and encouragement t- t The oPera opera association the city recreation de de- de D Davis vis the general director and j every member of the company deserve the it f. f praise and the moral and financial support j ot of Salt Lakers in their endeavors on now enlarged into both a summer and winter inter opera program i 4 And by the e way way have have you seen The Gon- Gon yet Its It's still on F Friday and Saturday nights night Admission prices price are ae low and jew and you'll youl get your moneys money's worth of 01 entertainment while you ge a very worthwhile Salt Lake City cultural enterprise
