Show 'veal savory with NOODLES You'll Need: 1 lb. veal shank 2 tablespoons flour 4 tablespoons margarine 2 tablespoons choped parsley 1 tablespoon dry mustard 2 tablespoons paprika '2 teaspoon salt i,I teaspoon garlic salt 14 teaspoon savory Few grains red pepper 2 cups hot stock 4 sliced carrots 4 white onions 1 package noodles Have your butcher sliced the veal shank in 4 thin slices and pound it very thin. Then cut meat in squares and dust it lightly .with flour. Brown in margarine over low heat; add all remaining ingredients in-gredients except vegetables and noodles. Cover and cook slowly 15 minutes; then add vegetables, cover again and cook very slowly another 45 minutes. While this is cooking, prepare noodles according accord-ing to directions on package. Serve all hot on a large platter. |
