Kirk and ' daughters Mary Alice and Barbara Bar-bara of Los Angeles, Calif., were ' hmne euests two days this week of Mrs Catherine D. Wills. The - Kirks, personal friends of Mrs. i Wills' and her daughter Mary Catherine, traveled from their ' home up the coast to Vancover : where they left their car while traveling to Alaska. They visited Glacier National Park, Lake Louise, Yellowstone Park and other points of interest enroute here. Jliss Sylvia Scovil, daughter of Mr. and" Mrs. Ray Scovil of Mapleton has spent the past several sev-eral weeks on the west coast. She is the house guest of her grandmother, grand-mother, Mrs. Polly Scovil at Los Gatos and has visited in Berkeley, San Francisco and other places of interest. Mr. and Mrs. Kay Klauck had as their guests on Thursday of last week, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Speros of San Francisco, Calif. The four enjoyed dinner at Scovils in the evening. Dave Friel, manager of Friel's Furniture store, is on a business trip to the furniture markets on the west coast' planning to return this week. Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Miller, accompanied ac-companied by their daughters, Mrs. Woodrow Weight and Miss Margery Miller returned Wednesday Wednes-day from a vacation trip to the west coast. They attended a reunion re-union of the Miller family at Los Angeles and also visited in that city with a son Karl Miller. En-route En-route home, they stopped for a time at Yosemite Park. |
