Show 'state releases health report There were 118 resident cases of communicable diseases reported to the State Department of Health by physicians and health officers for the week ending July 18, 1947. There were 156 cases reported for the previous week and 230 cases for the same week last year. That, represents a slight decrease in communicable diseases as coni-pared coni-pared with the previous week. Chickenpox and mumps, with 44 cases each, were the two most prevalent diseases during the week. One case of diphtheria was reported re-ported from Salt Lake pity; that makes twenty cases of diphtheria reported since the first of the year and it is the first case reported since June 20, 1947. |
