LOCAL CHILDREN INVITED TO SALT LAKE PARTY Springville girls and boys with others of Utah county are invited to be guests of Lee Lovinger of Salt Lake City at a Children's party on Friday, Aug. 8, at Liberty Park in Salt Lake City. Mrs. Ora Pyper, playground supervisor, announced Wednesday Wed-nesday that arrangements havo been made to furnish transportation for all Springville Spring-ville children from 10 to 14 years, who desire to attend tho outing. There will be a small charge made for the trip. The bus will leave the Park at 8 a. m., and return at 6 p. m. Chidren who desire to go on the bus are urged to contact Mr. Pyper at the City Park any afternoon until un-til August 7, and register their names. Mrs. Pyper Ald that chil-. chil-. dren under 10 years of age are invited to attend the day's entertainment, but they will have to be accompanied by their parents or someone to look after them. Annually Mr. Lovinger gives a party for boys and girls of Salt Lake City, but this year being the Centennial, he has decided to extend ex-tend an invitation to all children in this county. , . The party begins at 10 a. m. The day's events will include programs, contests, and lots of fun, all directed direct-ed by a group of men who will watch after the safety and welfare of the children. The Merry-go-'round and other concessions will also be free to the children on that day. And Mr. Lovinger has promised prom-ised his little guests all the pop-sicles pop-sicles and peanuts they care to eat! Parents who would like to give their kids a good time can easily do so by letting them attend Mr. Lovinger's Centennial children's party! x |
