Show If . T SPEND YOUR DOLLARS IN SPRINGVILLE Tomorrow and Saturday are, "Back To School Days," specially planned for home town folks to take advantage of the Shop At Home specials and there will be SPECIALS- Every merchant is making an attempt to offer a lot of specials in addition to his regular lines of merchandise. In addition to these fine offers, local business men have also purchased a number of prizes and are giving them away as a special inducement to get folks to come to town and see just what is for sale. All local business houses have a full line of merchandise mer-chandise and are stocked with the very best quality available in their respective lines. There is no need for anyone to travel to any other city to do their shopping this week or next or the next. If your local merchant happens not to have the needed article, he will get it foryou but nine chances out of ten, he will have it already stocked. The trouble with most of us is that we don't take the time to look around in our local stores, but travel several miles or more from home and then spend twice as much time to say nothing noth-ing of money, in stores with which we are not familiar. fami-liar. Springville salespeople are courteous, efficient and ready to serve at all times. Most of them have had considerable experience and are capable of helping with our shopping problems. N Stores in Springville compare favorably with those of much larger cities. Perhaps there is not the amount of merchandise on display as in larger stores, but often large displays tend to confuse and make the problem of deciding a hard one and sometimes leaves a feeling of dissatisfaction. When we take our money out' of town for merchandise mer-chandise we could buy at home, we should remember that it is not the out-of-town merchant who subscribes sub-scribes to every, "community drive" nor do we call on the out-of-town stores for those little almost daily contributions to one cause or another. Merchandise is not sold for less in neighboring towns as evidenced by the number of out-of-town shoppers who come to Springville, but it seems to be a habit with no fore thought as to the results, to take out money away from our own community. Money spent in Springville circulates in Springville and helps build a bigger city. We as citizens should therefore consider it an unpatriotic gesture to spend our money elsewhere but in our own town. |
