Show Manylmprovements Noted In City During Past Months Several major projects 'have been completed or are in the process of construction by the city, according ac-cording to a report submitted this week and each is a much-needed improvement. Some 25 miles of roads throughout through-out the city are being resurfaced to eliminate chuck-holes and other hazards resulting from wear and the past severe winter weather. Another improvement in many sections of the city, is the curb and gutter project which is to toe completed com-pleted within a few days. Another similar project for other parts of town, is planned in the near future. fu-ture. , Completion of concrete strips at the Springville-Spanish Fork airport, a project contracted by a former city administration, is also included in the ' major projects undertaken by the city. City officials have also initiated initia-ted the work of revising the city ordinances to bring them up to date. This undertaking is being done in cooperation with other cities in Utah county and at a considerable savings to each town. In addition to these major. improvements, im-provements, numerous smalled projects pro-jects have been undertaken or completed for the betterment of the city during the past few months. . |
