Show Personal News Notes Dwaine "Sonny" Gore visited over the week-end with relatives and friends in Salt Lake City. m Mrs. Wm. Gunn and family of Salt Lake City, visited her parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. George Weight, over the week-end. w Mrs. Blaine R. Larsen and son of Pleasunton, Calif., have been visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Reed Larsen at Mapleton. Mr. and Mrs. Elwood Laney and family of Brigham City were week-end geusts at the home of Mr. and Mrs. L. Lamar Weight. Mrs. J. Ross Weight and baby of Provo, visited over the weekend week-end at the home of Mr. and Mrs. H. M. Weight. Maurine Gore, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. B. Gore, visited relatives rela-tives and friends here over the week-end. She is taking nurses' training at the L. D. S. hospital. W. T. 3C Kenneth Long and his wife, the former Melva Kinser, have returned to Newport, R. I., after spending two weeks with her parents and other relatives and friends in Spanish Fork. Mrs. Harold Harmer and daughters daugh-ters of Layton, are spending this week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. G. Peterson. Mrs. Evelyn Hill and son have just returned after a visit with the Harmers at Layton Cpl. and Mrs. Roger Nielsen (Ruth Baxter) are visiting at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Baxter. v They have been making their home at Abilene, Texas, while Cpl. Nielson has been stationed at Camp Barkley. Mrs. Lucille S. Brown and children, chil-dren, Dennis and Judy, have returned re-turned from spending two months at Stockton, Calif., with her husband, hus-band, AS Stanley H. Brown. He has now been transferred from Stockton to LaJunta, Colo., and was able to spend a three-day delay de-lay enroute with relatives here and at Provo. MSgt. Robert L. Phillips, formerly for-merly of Lehi, who has been stationed sta-tioned at Fort Sill, Okla., for the past three years, visited his sister, sis-ter, Mrs. Frank Holmes and family fam-ily here the past week. Sgt. Phillips Phil-lips and family are known as the Fort Sill chaplains and as such their pictures recently appeared in the church section of the Des-ret Des-ret News. |
