Show KIWANIANS TO ' HEAR BYU FACULTY MAN Dr. Wesley Lloyd To Address Club On Postwar Education Tonight Paul Thorn will be toastmaster at Kiwanis club this evening, and he has secured as the speaker, Dr. Wesley Lloyd of the Brigham Young faculty. He will discuss postwar education. In addition to this talk, some fine musical numbers num-bers are being arranged for the evening. The meeting will be under un-der direction of the president, J. W. Grant. Clarence L. Jensen, secretary of the club, has initiated the compilation compila-tion of a club bulletin, which will undoubtdly prove interesting to club members. In the bulletin, the meetings are scheduled for three or four weeks, and a number num-ber of interesting personal notes concerning various members of the club, are given. Among other items, the bulletin bulle-tin states that the club has approved ap-proved a contribution to the Red Cross. Also, as a means of stimulating interest and improving the club, a suggestion box is being arranged for each meeting and the board of directors is asking that suggestions sugges-tions be placed in the box by any and all club members, these suggestions sug-gestions to be acted upon by the board. The club reports a membership of fifty members with an attend-anc attend-anc of thirty-six and three military mili-tary guests on Feb. 8; fifty-four members and four guests, Feb. 22 and forty members and seven guests on March 8th. A full membership is anticipated anticipat-ed at this evening's meeting. j |
