Weight Gentlemen : Just a note of sincere appreciation apprecia-tion for the lovely Christmas card I received from tho Jaycees the other day. I can honestly say that I was greatly impressed by the understanding and sentiment it expressed so well. The acknowledgment of the sincere desire we all have to be home at Christmas time and to worship our God with those we love and in the way we have for so many years, shows us that you do understand. This in itself makes our Christmas not half so bad. Sincerely, Floyd Anderson Dec. 12, 1943 King City, Calif. Dear Kay and Jaycees: You really brought back old memories yesterday when I received re-ceived the letter from the Jav- cees. Christmas, this year, will be rather lonely, ,but then, that is just one of those things that a guy has to take. I really appreciate the things the Jaycees are doing! You make me feel like well, just like I was almost home. That is a good feeling, too, let me tell you! We know that at least we are not forgotten at home -and that things will be waiting for us when we get back. Well, may I say thanks again for the swell letter. This flying is rather tiring, so I think some sleep would do me good. Sincerely, Kent Palfreyman |
