Show Mr .and Mrs. Willis Weight visited vis-ited the past week with her mother, moth-er, Mrs. Ellen Hogan and other relatives and friends in Salt Lake. Mr. and Mrs. Phil Thornton of Provo were Sunday guests of Mrs. Thornton's parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. J. Cook. Mrs. Mead Weight of Salt Lake City visited over the week-end with relatives and friends here. - w Mr. and Mrs. Leo Weight have" spent the past several days visiting visit-ing their son, Eldean, stationed with; the army air corps at Buckley Buck-ley Field, near Denver, Colo. Mrs. Lamar Roylance and children chil-dren are spending a few days with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bird Brown. Mr. Roylancee will be here for the holidays, coming from Colorado Springs, Colo. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Miller and children are spending a few days at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Miller. Carl has been stationed in the Hawaiian Islands with the 115th Engineers, and has now been transferred to the air corps. He is to report at a camp in Mississippi and Mrs. Miller Mil-ler and children will return to Los Angeles, Calif. m Mr. and Mrs. Harry Alleman and children have returned from Salt Lake City to make their home in, Springville. A number of relatives, including includ-ing Mr. and Mrs. C. G. Salisbury, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Johnson, Mr. and Mrs. Evelyn Lewis, were in Salt Lake City last Thursday to attend funeral services for Herbert Her-bert Shephard. Interment was in the Springville city cemetery. Naomi Pierce and Jane Wain-wright Wain-wright left the past week to spend a few days with friends in Denver, Den-ver, Colo. Charles Sanford has gone to Salt Lake City to spend Christmas and plans to later visit in California and the Northwest. Mrs. Reta Harmer and daughter Margaret visited in Ogden the past week with Mr. and Mrs. Mel-vin Mel-vin A. Weenig and friends. Wilbert A. Giles, son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Giles, has returned to his training at Farragut, . Idaho, after spending ten -days' leave with his parents and friends in Springville, Provo and Lehi. |
