Show M. I, A. BOARD IS ' PROUD OF ERA RECORD Stake Goes Over Top With More Than 130 Per Cent Subscribed The Kolbo stake M. I. A. board is proud of the record made by the various wards in the Era magazine mag-azine drive this year, and expresses ex-presses congratulations to each worker and others responsible for the success of the drive. At present, the stake is more than 130 per cent over the top, and gainst are still being made, according to Mrs. Earl Condie and George Simkins, stake Era directors. direc-tors. Much credit is due, they stated, to the Era directors of the various vari-ous wards, including Mrs. Rowe-na Rowe-na Allan and Merrill Gottfredson of the First; Virgil Bird, Second; Mrs. Faye Gottfredson, Third; Mrs. Erma Morgan and Mrs. Dorothy Dor-othy Hazel, Fourth, and Richard Wilkins, Mapleton. Some fine projects have developed devel-oped from the drive, including the First ward sending the Era to 112 service boys and girls from their ward. Also, the Fourth ward is making a plaque with names of all members in the armed forces from their ward. All this, the directors report, has been made possible through the excellent response re-sponse of loyal people in the wards and those who contributed to the drive. Era directors express their appreciation at this time to those who have gladdened the hearts of those people now able to partake of the M. I. A. spirit through the Era Messenger. |
