Show Eileen Felix, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Felix, has returned to her home here from the Spanish-American mission, where she has served for the past two years. Mrs. Melissa Thompson spent the week-end with relatives and friends in Salt Lake City. mm. Mr. and Mrs. John A. Miller and Mr. and Mrs. Harlan Boyer were in Salt Lake City Saturday, the men attending a meeting of the American Legion. Dr. and Mrs. R. C. Petty left recently to make their home in California. m W W Mrs. Charles Franks has gone to Choteau, Mont., to spend a few weeks with relatives. Lt. Gene E. Bird left Monday evening for a new assignment at Miami, Fla. He was accompanied by Mrs. Bird, the former Ila Nan Clyde. Mrs. Jane Strong Richins visited visit-ed briefly with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest A. Strong, the past week, enroute to join her husband hus-band who has been transferred from camp at Phoenix, Ariz., to Bakersfield, Calif. Mrs. Mabel George of Los Angeles, Ange-les, Calif., returned to her home Friday after spending three weeks with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Straw, in .this city. Mrs. D. P. Brinton of San Francisco, Fran-cisco, Calif., formerly of this city, spent a few days of the past week here with relatives and friends. Lts. Thomas G. and Merlene Tew Colaruscso, from Bushnell hospital, Brigham City, spent the week-end with the latter's parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. William T. Tew, and also attended conference here on Sunday. Sgt. and Mrs, D. C. Erb (Ruth Condie) have returned to Yuma, Ariz., after spending a two-weeks' furlough with Mr. and Mrs. Earl Condie here, and Mr. and Mrs. C. D. Erb in Salt Lake City. During their stay a number of social functions func-tions were given here and in Salt Lake City in their honor. . Mrs. Sterling Noakes left Monday Mon-day for El Paso, Texas, where she was called by the Red Cross on acount of the serious illness of her husband, who is station with the Army near El Paso. Louisa Rowland, city librarian, was in Salt Lake City Saturday, to attend the annual convention of the Utah Library Association. Ronda Jenkins, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Jenkins, stationed at the base general depot at San Bernardino, Calif., spent a few days of the past week on furlough here. |
