Show FIRST WARD TO MEET UNION HERE SATURDAY Rivalry between the First ward and the Union ward of the East Jordan stake will be renewed when thoso two M Men quints meot here Saturday, February 1, in a practice game In the new gym at 8 p. m. The Union team boasts of a rangy, versatile outfit, that has not been defeated in the East Jordan stake league. Union defeated defeat-ed the First ward team in the first game of the All-Church tournament last year in an extra period and Saturday's game is expected ex-pected to be a thriller. The First ward team will be at full strength for the Saturday encounter en-counter with Brown, K. Olsen, M. Olsen, Child, and Bird as probable starters for the encounter. Union starters will probably be Curtis, Pixton, Atkinson, Whitehead, and Cowdell. These Unioners have won seven straight league games to date. Saturday's game will be free to the public, with a close and exciting excit-ing contest in store for fans attending |
