Show Springville To Invade Spanish Fork Friday In Important Encounter Red Devils Risk Clean Slate Against Spanish Fork Dons; Springville Defeats Nephi In Thriller --"-It Springville high school's league - leading Red Devils will risk their clean slate at Spanish Fork against the unpredictable Dons Friday night at 8 p. m. in the Spanish Fork gymnasium. Owen Rowe's boys, with reversals chalked up against them thus far, will be out to capture their first league tilt of the season but Springville fans say their team will be ready to meet the challenge. The Dons' team, while lacking in experience and height, make up for this in their determined, scrappy play. Springville's Red and Blue clad boys will go into the scrap as heavy favorites by virtue of their impressive win over Juab last week. However, fans are not forgetting for-getting that Spanish Fork tipped the touted Devils on their own court last year, and another such upset is not impossible. Devils Down Rivals . . . In the most thrilling basketball exhibition played here to date this season, the Springville high school cagers staved off a "Udell Wankier rally" in the final few minutes of play to capture a thrilling thrill-ing game from the scrappy Nephi Wasps 33 to 31.
