Show ASSOCIATION TO SELL PRIZED STOCK Officers Named For Coming Year At Meeting Tuesday At a meeting of the Springville-Mapleton Springville-Mapleton Bull association, held Tuesday evening in the Seminary, it was decided that the ibulfs, Remus and Romulus, would be sold. Other business transacted at the meeting as the election of officers, of-ficers, as follows: G. Fred Weight, president; Ellis LeRoy, vice-president; Lewis Childs, secretary; sec-retary; Reed Straw and George Peterson, board members. Lyman Rich, County Agent S. R. Boswell, Del Gay, Carrol Bag-ley, Bag-ley, and Dr. Cole, veterinarian, were guest speakers at the meeting. meet-ing. Mr. Rich showed a film of cows and bulls and safety bull pens taken from all over the state and also gave a talk and figures on dairying. The county agent gave a summary sum-mary of the dairy planning board for 1941, and Dr. Cole, in his talk, congratulated Springville and Mapleton on their fine bulls and cows. John Pox and Carrol Bagley talked on pastures and pasture improvement. Other speakers were Lee Walker, Walk-er, city sanitation inspector, and George F. Weight. It was announced that the young bull, Duke, would be placed at Mapleton, and Romulus at Lewis Lew-is Childs'. |
