Show B. F. Larsen Paintings Exhibited at Art Gallery i Second ot a series of lectures on the works of Utah artists being exhibited in the Springville Art Building was given at a meeting of the Hafen-Dallln Art club this afternoon by Glen Turner, Art Curator. Scbject of the lecture was the display of works of the well-known well-known Utah artist, B. F. Larsen. Professor at Brigham Young university, which are now on display. dis-play. The exhibit covers Mr. Larsen's life works, from his earliest paintings paint-ings to the present time. It includes in-cludes works from his two trips to Europe and his art tour through the southwest in connection with the Brigham Young university summer school a few years ago. j Two of the paintings on exhibit which are attracting attention are his "La Caracane A Cordes" and "An Old Street in Uzurche,," both of which were displayed in the Salon of Paris. The exhibit of Mr. Larsen's paintings includes a number of water colors. Two of these water colors were exhibited in the recent show of the American Water Color Col-or club held in New York City. The exhibits of the works of Utah artists changes every two weeks, with the gallery where they are displayed open to the public from one to nine on Sunday Sun-day afternoon, and week days from nine to six. |
