Show -. THE MOTHERS STUDY CLUB GAVE A PARTY in the form of an annual guest day entertainment Friday evening, in the Fourth ward hall. Mrs. A. G. Peterson was in charge of the program with Mrs. George Adams, toastmaster. Luncheon was served at long tables early in the evening and lovely decorations in green and white were employed in the centerpiece center-piece and other details of the party. par-ty. The program for the evening was well arranged and enjoyable, including toasts by A. G. Peterson, A. G. Thorn, Reed Bird and George Adams; a quartet composed of Wayne Johnson, George Harrison, Earl Sumsion and A. G. Thorn, sang delightful numbers composed by one of the group. The ladies chorus, accompanied by Mrs. Mar-jorie Mar-jorie Bird, entertained with selections, selec-tions, as did Ed Williams. Mrs. Ella Reynolds entertained with readings and later stunts and games were presented under direction direc-tion of Mrs. Earl Sumsion. During the evening also, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Johnson were presented present-ed with a lovely gift in appreciation apprecia-tion of Mr. Johnson's efforts in assisting the club with their project pro-ject to raise war funds by contrib- uting one of his pamtings to be given away. Attending the party were approximately ap-proximately fif ty-f i v e members and guests. Hostesses for the occasion were: Mrs. Arthur Finley, Mrs. Dean Straw, Mrs. L. J. Loveridge, Mrs. Clarence L.
