I Mrs. Harold Johnson (Grace Butler) has returned to her home in Hollywood, Calif., following a two-week visit with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. L. Butler. Mrs. E. V. Holt and children of Salt Lake City, spent several days of the past week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. L. Butler. Charles Straw of Butte, Mont., was among the Springville Fourth of July visitors. Mrs. Straw has spent the past few weeks with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. F. Packard, Pack-ard, and other relatives here. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Richards and son, accompanied by Mr. Richards' parents, Apostle and Mrs. George F. Richards of Salt Lake City, spent the Fourth of July holidays at Yellowstone park. Mrs. Ellen Hogan of Salt Lake City, visited her daughter, -Mrs. Willis Weight, and family this week. June Murdock and Marcelene Dietman of Los Angeles, Calif., are visiting Miss Murdock's grandmother, grandmo-ther, Mrs. Charles Conover, and other relatives here. Mrs. George Murdock and small daughter, Mary Gene, of Los Angeles, have spent the past several weeks with Mr. and Mrs. Conover at the Murdock Mur-dock ranch in Hobble Creek canyon. can-yon. Dr. and Mrs. Earl Reynolds of Los Angeles, Calif., have returned to their home following a visit with relatives and friends in Springville. They came especially to see Dr. Reynolds' father, J. O. Reynolds, who has been ill for several weeks. They also spent some time with relatives and friends at Provo. ' Mrs. Gladys J. Nelson and niece and a nephew, from Marysville, Calif., are visiting Mrs. Nelson's sister, Mrs. Fred Weight, and family, fam-ily, in this city. m Dr. and Mrs. Rex Whiting have returned to their home in Los Angeles, An-geles, Calif., following a two-week visit with the former's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Whiting, and other relatives here and in Salt Lake City. Mrs. Alice R. Merrill of Arco, Idaho, is visiting relatives and friends in Springville. She was the former Alice Rothwell, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Will Rothwell. Mr. and Mrs. Byron Jacob were in Delta Friday to attend funeral services for their brother-in-law, Billie Van, prominent business man of that vicinity, who died of a heart attack. Phyllis Boyer, employed at Hill Field, is spending this week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Selvoy J. Boyer. Mrs. Mabel Fountain of Sacramento, Sacra-mento, Calif., was a guest- this week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Miner. Mrs. Pat Belihar of Beverly Hills, Calif., is a guest at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Morgan. Dell Liechty, who has been employed em-ployed on defense work in Santa Monica, Calif., the past eighteen months, is spending this week with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. B. J. Liechty. Blanch Beal and son, David, returned re-turned Tuesday from several days spent on a vacation trip to Yellowstone Yellow-stone National park in company with Mrs. Beal's sister and husband, hus-band, Mr. and Mrs. George Ault, of Salt Lake City. Mrs. Maude Groesbeck Swanson and two children of Pasadena, Calif., are spending a month with Mrs. Swanson's aunt, Mrs. Hazel Jacob, and family. i Mrs. George Naylor of Salt Lake City, is spending the week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. D. Johnson. Miss Norma Gene Lunceford of Linwood, Calif., is spending a two-month two-month summer vacation with her grandmother, Mrs. Hazel Jacob, and other relatives. Mrs. R. D. Andrus and two children of Holladay, are guests this week at the home of Mrs. Andrus' sister, Mrs. G. L. Barron, and family. Harrison Conover, publisher of the Springville Herald, and vice-president vice-president of the Utah State Press association, was in Coalville Wednesday Wed-nesday to attend funeral services for C. Kenneth Perry, editor and publisher of the Summit County Bee, and a director of the Utah State Press association, who died of a heart attack Saturday, while on a vacation trip to Ely, Nev. |
