The program included a vocal duet by Shirley and Phyllis Peterson, Peter-son, accompanied by Mrs. Mary Bird. THE MOTHERS' STUDY CLUB MET FRIDAY at the home of Mrs. Menette Bird, where William T. Tew gave an especially es-pecially interesting talk on "Spiritual "Spir-itual Armament," and vocal selections selec-tions were rendered by Hannah Rowland, accompanied by Mrs. Virgil Bird. Mrs. Beth Barrett, club vice-president, vice-president, was in charge of the meeting, at the close of which a nicely arranged lunch was served to 16 club members and Mrs. Elizabeth Morbey Betts, a special guest. )IRS. MARGARET MIXER WAS HOSTESS THURSDAY afternoon to members of Camp Aaron Johnson, assisted by Mrs. Amy Donaldson, Mrs. Gladys Boyer, Boy-er, Mrs. Bessie Brammall, Mrs. Delia Harris, and Mrs. Zina Crandall. Cran-dall. The program included a history of John Polly Brown, given by a granddaughter, Mrs. Olive Anderson, Ander-son, and lessons on "Early Utah Drama" and "Early Firefighters," given by Mrs. Delia Harris and Mrs. Clara Carter, respectively. Mrs. Evelyn M. Boyer entertained with two vocal solos and in conclusion con-clusion dainty refreshments were served. Captain Josie Alleman was to charge of the program. CAMP SPRINGVILLE, D. U. P., WILL SIEET DECEMBER 11 for their annual Christmas party at the Fourth ward Relief society hall, announces Captain Beth Barrett. Bar-rett. A delightful program is arranged ar-ranged for the occasion and all members are urged to attend. Hostesses for the occasion will be Mrs. Net Thorn, chairman, Mrs. Agnes Laney, Mrs. Reba Reynolds, Rey-nolds, Mrs. Fannie Rowland, Mrs. Mary Whitehead, Mrs. Rose Black-ett, Black-ett, and Mrs. Lois Martindale. A lovely quilt which the camp has made to raise money for their memorial fund, will be exhibited and tickets will be offered. There will also be an apron sale during 'he afternoon. MRS. Dr. Mary King gave a talk on "Vitamins and Contagious Diseases," Diseas-es," and preceding the talk a delicious deli-cious lunch was served. Attending were Mrs. Ferl Bown, Mrs. Helen Rowland, Mrs. Marva Taylor, Mrs. Mae Miller, Mrs. Evelyn Bird, Mrs. Elzina Laney, Mrs. Harriet Strong, Mrs. Eulalia Livingston, Mrs. Harriet Burt and Miss Clara Harmer, the latter being be-ing a special guest. A TURKEY DINNER WAS GIVEN SUNDAY by the family of Lafe Miner in honor of Clyde Miner, who leaves today for selective service. The group also presented Clyde with a watch and shaving set. Attending the dinner were Mr. and Mrs. Don Miner, Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Miner, Lafe Miner, Clara Miner, and the guest of honor. CAMP KOLOB, D. U.
