Show FEW HOMES FOR THIS CITY A report by the housing committee commit-tee of Utah county shows that a total of 2,017 houses allotted the county, priorities have been granted grant-ed for 1,649, leaving 368 unallocated. unallo-cated. Applications for additional priorities number 870. HOLC has received 75 applications applica-tions for remodeling of which 49 are in process of being granted and 23 have been leased. No construction con-struction bids have been requested. Therefore, it will probably be three or four months before these units will be completed, the report stated. stat-ed. A total of 176 of the 300 house trailers at the Orem trailer project proj-ect were occupied as of April 23, with the balance to be occupied shortly. Of the total projects granted, only two are in SpringviUe; 36 are for Lehi; 177, American Fork; 60, Pleasant Grove; 305, Orem; 1,008, Provo; 43, Spanish Fork; 18, Pay-son. Pay-son. A total of 100 units have been completed and are occupied, the report stated. These include 25 in American Fork, 18 in Orem, 94 in Provo, and 13 in Spanish Fork. There are 550 additional units under construction as follows: SpringviUe, 1; Spanish Fork, 27; Payson, 2; American Fork, 102; Pleasant Grove, 56; Orem, 168; Provo, 125. |
