Teasdale, who was married the past week in the Salt Lake temple. tem-ple. Mrs. Ramola Norton and Mrs. Ethel Miner entertained at the home of the former for approximately approxi-mately 35 guests. The group spent the evening making a scrapbook for the bride, after which a delicious deli-cious lunch was served and the bride was presented with many beautiful gifts. Mrs. Clara J. Sumsion also en-a en-a party at her home at which ap-tertained ap-tertained in honor of the bride at proximately 30 friends and relatives rela-tives attended. Mrs. Evelyn Boyer and Mrs. Ellen Anderson gave vocal solos, and Floss Harmer in a pleasing manner gave the story "A Letter to Edith." A nicely arranged luncheon was served and the bride was the recipient of many lovely gifts. Another social event in nonor or the bride-elect was the party given by the Third ward Gleaner girls in the form of a shower at the home of Mrs. Philda Finley. There were ten class members present and everyone enjoyed a pot luck lunch and the guest of honor was pre sented with a beautiful linen tablecloth. table-cloth. Mrs. Mary Smart and Mrs. Mar-va Mar-va Johnson were joint hostesses at a party in honor of the bride-elect at the former's home. The evening was spent playing "Bride," and a tasty luncheon was served to about 12 guests. The guest of honor received re-ceived many useful gifts. |
