Maple chapter chap-ter of the Delphian society will conduct their regular meeting next Wednesday at the home of Mrs. C. G. Salisbury. Mrs. Catherine D. Wills will be leader and talks on the free thinker, William Morris, will be given by Mrs. F. L. Graham, Mrs. Salisbury, Mrs. J. W. Grant, Mrs. George Nelson, Mrs. Mark Johnson, Mrs. Earl Condie, and Mrs. Ray Hales. Camp Spring Creek, D.U.P. Members of Camp Spring Creek, D. U. P., will be entertained Thursday Thurs-day afternoon, January 14, at the home of Mrs. Hilda Grant. A fine program is arranged for the occasion. oc-casion. Camp Hobble Creek, D.U.P. Camp Hobble Creek, D. U. P., will meet at the home of Mrs. Ivan Felix on the evening of Wednesday, Wednes-day, January 20. Mrs. Aileen Weight will be assisting hostess and all members are invited to be present. Alpha Beta Club Mrs. G. Ray Hales will review the book, "Paul Revere and the World He Lived In," at a meeting of the Alpha Beta club Friday afternoon, af-ternoon, when they are entertained entertain-ed at the home of Mrs. W. L. Schreiner. Mrs. C. G. Russell will give the topic on South America. W. N. O. CLUB MEMBERS WERE ENTERTAINED at the home of Mrs. Helen Adams in Provo on Thursday evening. After Af-ter a delicious luncheon, the time was spent playing progressive "Gimmie," and prizes for the games went to Mrs. Oris Child and Mrs. Glenita Ollerton. Others present pres-ent were Mrs. Theda Child, Mrs. Billie Strong, Mrs. Winnie Mower, Mrs. Maurine Mortensen, Mrs. Noma Thorpe, Mrs. Leona Wilson, Mrs. Mary Averett, Mrs. Delia Smith, Mrs. Evelyn Hendrickson, and Mrs. Maurine Adams, the latter lat-ter two from Provo, were special guests. The group during the evening, presented Mrs.' Maurine Mortensen with a birthday gift. |
