Show Visits Here ... PILOT ON LEAVE OF ABSENCE VISITS PARENTS Lieut. Don Anderson, On Visit Here, Scheduled As Speaker In The Second Ward Lieut. Don Anderson, with the U. S. army air force, stationed at Jackson, Miss., is visiting for a few days with his parents, Dr. and Mrs. John R. Anderson; of this city. Lieut, Anderson, now a check pilot and assistant air corps supervisor super-visor at the air corps training detachment de-tachment at Jackson, has made considerable progress since enlisting enlist-ing in the air corps in September, Septem-ber, 1940. He received his wings and graduated gra-duated at Maxwell Field in Montgomery, Mont-gomery, Ala., later becoming an instructor at the basic flying school at Genter Field, Montgomery. Montgom-ery. He just recently received his commission as First Lieutenant and is now on an indefinite leave of absence. Lieut. Anderson has been engaged en-gaged as one of the speakers at the Sunday evening services in the Second ward chapel, directed by the missionary committee.
