Show FUNERAL HELD WEDNESDAY FOR LOCAL MAN Funeral services for John Byron Diamond, 50, of this city, who died Sunday afternoon at a local hospital, following a long illness, were conducted Wednesday in the Third ward chapel. Burial was in the city cemetery, directed by A. Y. Wheeler & Son mortuary. He was born in Springville, March 28, 1892, a son of James and Lillie Mae Packard Diamond, and received his education in the Springville city schools. He married Delpha Jolley at He-ber He-ber City in 1934. For the jSast three years he had been employed as a cement worker in Idaho. Surviving are a son, Ralph B. Diamond, of Provo; his father and step-mother of Springville; also four brothers and two sisters, J. W. Diamond of Nevada, Earl and Lewis B. Diamond and Mrs. Ethel Larsen of Springville; Frank W. Diamond of Park City; Mrs. Minnie Min-nie McDonald of Howe, Idaho. |
