Show WOOL VALUE WILL BE TOLD The value of wool to humanity will be emphasized here this week when "Utah Wool Week" will be observed. ' James A. Hooper, secretary of the Utah Wool Growers Association Associa-tion urges all citizens of the state to learn about wool because Utah wool is one of the products that provide the annual Income to support sup-port the inhabitants. Utah annually an-nually produces more than 20,-000,000 20,-000,000 pounds of wool, he said. The educational features of the week's program will be presented by the Ladies Auxiliary of the Wool Growers' Association. Wool is hollow, providing a natural insulator as protection from either heat or cold. Wool has inner, elastic cells, giving the wool textiles elasticity and finally final-ly a tough outer scale, making it adaptable for the finest work of the weaver's art, it was explained. |
